For queer people, finding a community where you feel seen, understood, and safe is especially vital. “The Queer Community Project” shines a light on this need by celebrating LGBTQIA+ groups that embody the power of connection and shared identity. This project is a photo series and features a short documentary which has been awarded “Best Short Docu” at Berlin Independent Film Festival in 2025.
Cell Rememory : Art Opening
Art Opening to show case textile paintings/quilts on the wall that honor the tradition of American quilting, especially Gee Bend Quilters, honor South Asian/Indian textiles and consider how fabric and materiality connect us to ancestors. The Spider’s Web hosts a monthly rope jam to explore and celebrate our kinky selves, our relationship with womanhood and femininity, and bondage.
